These rules are from a previous league, and some things will need to be changed (via league vote - or commish):
General League Info
- League is run using Sim Hockey.
- League has 2 Conferences each with 8 Teams.
- Schedule for each team contains, 6 games against each Team in your own Conference and 4 games against each Team in the Other Conference for a total of 74 Games.
- 4 Teams from each Conference make the Playoffs.
Player Movement
- There are no Free Agent or Restricted Free Agent Rights for FHML Players. Team will retain player rights unless either traded or released.
- All Trades must be posted in the Trade Thread and verified by both parties.
- All Player or Prospect Releases/Claims should be listed in the appropriate thread.
- There can be NO Prospect in your minor league system at the start of the season that have reached the following number of combined regular season and playoff games.: Forwards/Defenseman-150 games played and Goalies-75 games played. These players must either be called up to your full team or released.
- Any Prospect who started the season under the games limit shall be allowed to remain with your minor league team for the course of that season even if they go over the games limit.
- Any Prospect who has been called up to your Major League Roster cannot be returned to the Minors if he has reached the 150/75 Game limits at that point during the season.
- Prospects cannot be used in the Sim until they have played in at least 1 NHL Game and have been added to the Sims Player Roster.
- Any player on your Roster who signs a contract to play outside the NHL shall be excluded from use in the Sim. The team does retain his rights and a note of this should be made after your Prospect List.

- Each team MUST have a minimum of 2 goalies, 8 defenceman, and 15 forwards.

2) If a Player is waived and refuses to report to the AHL the player can be used in the current Sim season.
3) If a Player is waived and then returns to Europe then that player cannot be used in the Sim and the "Rights Retained Europe" guidelines apply.
